For every home, a climate plan
We live in exciting times. With all the upgrades and rebates out there, we can invest in our homes, our wallets, our health, and the planet. How cool! But, figuring out what’s right, how much it costs, and getting it done can feel like a full-time job. If you’ve felt that way, you’re in good company. We’re working to give every homeowner an easy, data-driven, and transparent way to get the energy upgrades they need to make their homes more climate-friendly.
Shaped by our work helping homeowners get energy upgrades
Before we wrote any code, we were energy coaches. For months, we manually helped homeowners get the energy upgrades they need, from weatherizing, to solar, to heat pumps. And we sorted it all: technical design, rebates, sifting through contractors and getting quotes. It’s a ton of work, more than any homeowner can reasonably be expected to do. We’re building Jane to take the best practices we know and automate them for you.
Doing what’s best for you and your home
We think the world of energy upgrades and the impact they can have on homes and the planet is super exciting. But with the excitement around home energy upgrades, it can be hard telling fact from fiction. By using Jane, we know you’re trusting us with a precious asset (your home!) and we take that very seriously. Every home and homeowner is unique, and we’re building Jane so you get the energy upgrades right for you. We do that by keeping our data and methods clear and transparent so you’re always informed by numbers you can trust.
Our business model
We’re building Jane so that every homeowner can have a climate plan. With our Jane platform, we pair technology and best practices to create smarter climate plans. And because we’re using tech and automation to do that, we can keep our climate plans totally free – no strings attached. Jane only makes money if you choose to move forward with a project. If after seeing a climate plan, you want to get that heat pump or solar project, and want Jane to automate the next steps, we just ask for a commission fee, and take care of the rest.
